It is double jargon of legislation that “thanks our service members and veterans” and then cut benefits that impact our communities and our families! It’s time to stand up with legislators who are defending our community services and the community capital grant funds that have been interrupted for community veteran projects. The Illinois Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to assist eligible low income households pay for winter energy services.
